The objectives of the EEMI450 Initiative are: Creating and maintaining a climate in Europe favorable to research, development and innovation in the field of Equipment and Material Supporting the migration to the larger wafer size of 450mm and to the economic growth of the corresponding sectors of industry Stimulating and coordinating actions to implement and foster research activities Developing and keeping up to date the research activities on the basis of a vision that has been tuned with Parties of EEMI450, as a pan-European guideline for R&D and innovation programs in the field of Equipment and Material Participating in joint undertakings in the field of Equipment and Material Cooperating with the existing activities of the relevant European Technology Platforms, e.g. ENIAC and Catrene This Initiative is a non-profit association.
